Since February 2008, Unite the GOP.com had persistently pushed for a McCain-Romney Ticket. It is our primary goal to get Romney in as our leader. We know many of you feel the same. Our site has had nearly 400,000 hits and numerous emails that agree with mission and vision of UnitetheGOP.com. We will continue to press forward and look towards Romney for President in 2012.

Obama is now the President Elect.

What do we do now?

Our fight is not directly against the Presidency now, but rather against the socialistic legislation that could be passed through the democratic majorities of the House and Senate. We would like to focus on 4 major areas over the coming months to help preserve our Divinely inspired Constitution that our founding fathers gave their fortunes, sacred honor, and lives for. Our constitution was set up with checks and balances to protect our freedoms. With very liberal leaders in the legislative, executive and eventually judicial branches of government we are sure to see very damaging laws get passed.

1. Pray. Pray for our leaders to listen to and be guided by God in their decision making.

2. Pay attention to legislation being brought before our democratic House and Senate.  We will try to help inform you of legislation that we should be writing our Congressman and Senators on.  We have to try and stop what damage is possible to be inflicted on our hanging liberties and champion those laws that will help our country succeed.

3. Help push new legislation in Winner-Take-All states to create a fair primary for the 2012 election.

4. Help prepare strong new Republican candidates for the 2010 election to overturn the democratic majorities in the House and Senate and prepare the way for Romney in 2012.  We'll need him more than ever then! This includes keeping an eye on the voting records of those currently in office.
